Our story
Two favorites. One front door.
Fried & Frosty started with a husband-and-wife team, two very different cravings, and a shared idea for downtown Tuscaloosa.
Where the name came from
Ross brought the heat. Taylor brought the cool.
Taylor has loved the cool side of a creamery since her high school days working at one. Today, Lamon’s makes both frozen custard flavors in its own kitchen.
Ross spent years chasing great Nashville hot chicken from city to city—tasting it, testing it, and refining the version he wanted to serve.
Lamon’s Fried & Frosty brings those two passions together: crispy chicken with real personality and rich frozen custard waiting on the other side.
“Hot and cold comfort food, all in one place.”— Lamon’s Fried & Frosty

Local by design
Made for downtown Tuscaloosa.
We wanted Lamon’s to feel approachable, memorable, and unmistakably ours—a place for a quick lunch, dinner with friends, something sweet, or all of the above.
Walk in hungry. Pick your heat. Save room for frosty.
Come see what it means
Fried. Frosty. Lamon’s.
The easiest way to understand the name is to order both halves.
